Hit-Seeking MDs: R&R Convention Rhythmic Panel
It’s all about the music in the “Discovery Channels” session at the 2008 R&R Convention in Austin. Even though rhythmic is one of the most musically active formats, listeners no longer have to wait for radio to introduce them to new music. Now that technology has provided listeners with more music outlets than ever before, this session will reveal what programmers can do to stay ahead of the curve. Panelists will also discuss how they filter out the hits from the overwhelming amount of music options available.
KBMB (103.5 the Bomb)/Sacramento PD Pattie Moreno will moderate the session, whose panelists include WQHT (Hot 97)/New York APD/MD Jill Strada, KPWR (Power 106)/Los Angeles APD/MD E-Man, WBBM-FM (B96)/Chicago APD/MD Erik Bradley, KBMB (103.5 the Bomb)/Sacramento MD Short-E, KUUU (U92)/Salt Lake City APD/MD Kevin Cruise and KDHT (Hot 93.3)/Austin MD Deuce.
