WRMF, West Palm Beach asks jock's ex-girlfriend to quit contacting advertisers
31-year-old registered nurse Jaime Barrett claims that morning show co-host Danny Czekalinski hit her during a domestic dispute at his place in late May - and she called the police. They arrested him, but later declined to press charges and he's back on the air at AC WRMF (97.9). Police determined that the night of the incident, both parties had been drinking, and the Palm Beach Post reports their belief that Barrett may have flushed marijuana down the toilet that night. (Danny's attorney also claims that Barrett was arrested two years ago for trying to score Oxycodone and Percocet without a prescription.) Barrett claims she's owed $100,000 for medical and other bills. Czekalinski's attorney Gregory Coleman calls that "extortion."
