Sun-Times columnist and television movie-review host Richard Roeper will emcee the 2008 Chicago Emmy Awards nominations party Sept. 9 at the Trump International Hotel and Tower, 401 N. Wabash.

The event is sponsored by the Chicago/Midwest chapter of the National Association of Television Arts and Sciences. For reservations, call (312) 344-8600.

The 50th annual Emmys will be presented Oct. 18 at the Hyatt Regency McCormick Place.
