Svengoolie reports that he is fine

Former Chicago radio star (and TV's original "Svengoolie") Jerry G. Bishop wrote to say he has recovered well from the stoke he suffered last year. He's still undergoing therapy in San Diego, where he moved in 1978.

"I'm spending lots of time rooting for the Cubs and hoping they don't blow it," he said.
