WCGO-AM (1600) moving for sure

Now it's official: The Federal Communications Commission has granted the application of Kovas Communications to move WCGO-AM (1600) from south suburban Chicago Heights to Jenison, Mich.

Kovas still expects to receive FCC approval for the move of WKKD-AM (1580) from west suburban Aurora to Silvis, Ill.

Both moves are meant to free up the top of the dial and reduce interference for Kovas' WONX-AM (1590) in north suburban Evanston.
