Leaving on a Jet plane: Kenard Gibbs is out as group publisher of Ebony and Jet magazines and president of the Ebony/Jet Entertainment Group after around 15 months in the posts, according to a spokeswoman for Chicago-based Johnson Publishing Co. The company spokeswoman called it "an amicable parting." No successor was immediately named.
