: ‘Crazy’ or not — he’s back
:
: It’s been 14 months since “Crazy” Howard McGee was fired as morning personality
at Clear Channel Radio’s urban contemporary WGCI-FM (107.5) and replaced by the nationally syndicated Steve Harvey.
: McGee hasn’t been heard from much since then — but that’s about to change.
: From 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday, he’s expected to hold forth on USTalkNetwork.com, an Internet Radio site run by former Chicago radio executives Lee Michaels and Zemira Jones.
: McGee has promised to “tell the real reason he was fired, who really fired him [and] who the phonies are in Chicago radio and Clear Channel.”

i could care less. does no one remember the situation in which mr. mcgee beat his wife to a pulp? elroy stood by him during this so he kept his job. i doubt the new pd appreciated this off-air 'talent' as much as elroy.
