Bubba The Love Sponge gets TV gig

Cox Radio/Sirius XM Radio host Bubba the Love Sponge has been recruited by his good bud Hulk Hogan to be a part of Hogan's new reality television competition program, "Hulk Hogan’s Celebrity Championship Wrestling," when it debuts on the CMT cable TV channel later this fall.

Bubba will be the show’s announcer and provide play-by-play for the program that stars Hogan and that will feature 10 celebrities being trained to become professional wrestlers, something longtime professional wrestling champion Hogan knows a thing or two about.

When he's not doing TV, Bubba hosts mornings on Cox classic rockers WHPT/Tampa and WFYV/Jacksonville. In addition, he hosts an afternoon drive talk show on Sirius XM's Howard 101 channel.
