CCR Hands Out '08 Performance Excellence Awards

Clear Channel Radio has announced that 17 employees have been recognized as the 2008 Performance Excellence Award winners. Each individual was honored for their leadership, exemplary performance, speed-to-action and teamwork in their respective markets and divisions.
The awards ceremonies took place Tuesday night (Sept. 9) at the kick off dinner of the 2008 Executive Clear Channel Radio Leadership Summit, an annual leadership conference held for Clear Channel Radio executives. Award-winning Clear Channel CHR/top 40 KIIS/Los Angeles morning personality and host of American Idol, Ryan Seacrest, presented the individual awards.
Receiving the 2008 Performance Excellence Awards were:
Matt Howell, director of engineering, Washington/Baltimore; Mary Menna, general sales manager, Boston; Thea Mitchem, OM, Philadelphia; Michael Bryan, PD, CHR/top 40 WXXL/Orlando; Bob McCuin, general sales manager, New York; Pat Connor, director of sales, Denver; Eddie Martiny, president/market manager, Houston; Gregg Swedberg, operations director/PD country KEEY/Minneapolis; Pam McKay, VP/market manager, Austin; Massimo Rosati, director of sales, Denver; Adam Stubbs, APD/promotions director, WRVA (Lite 98)/Richmond; Rich Lauber, OM, Syracuse; Matt Gillon, director of sales, Des Moines; Bob Murphy, OM, Louisiana Platform; Owen Grover, Sr. director of programming & marketing, Clear Channel Online Music and Radio; Alan Korowitz, regional VP/director of sales, Clear Channel Radio Sales; and Julie Talbott, executive VP of affiliate services, Premiere Radio Networks.
