I gotta say that I actually kinda dig it. Homegirl is doing a good job of delivering herself as an average jane with an honest sense of real humor. Her supporting cast of characters does the job of being "TV talkshow" while she just hangs out.

I could see it possibly giving Ellen a run for her money. Good choice by WMAQ to air them back to back.
