I read somewhere that TRL's PEAK # over the last few years has been around 300,000. I'm not sure how the show could be revamped to trend upward again. They've tried just about everything, INCLUDING even dropping the countdown portion of the show.

The sad truth is that it's a different music world with the iPod, YouTube, and MySpaces of 2008..

People don't even make mix tapes/CDs for their friends. They just zap files back and forth between phones and iPods.

I'm gonna go have a little cry now.
