Mike North, Dan Jiggetts reunite for daily TV sports show

Mike North is teaming up again with Dan Jiggetts for a daily morning TV show on Comcast SportsNet, the cable channel announced Monday.

The show, dubbed "Monsters of the Morning," will run live from 6 a.m. to 9 a.m., Monday through Friday.

Mr. North left WSCR-AM, "The Score," in June after 16 years at the station.

The SportsNet show reunites Messrs. North and Jiggetts, who spent eight years in the 1990s as co-hosts of WSCR's "Monsters of the Midway" sports radio show. Mr. Jiggetts, a Chicago Bears offensive lineman from 1976-82, is now an anchor at Comcast SportsNet.

"Mike North . . . and Dan made a fabulous team on radio for many years," said James J. Corno, president of Comcast SportsNet Chicago, in a statement. "We're confident Chicago sports fans will appreciate what they will bring to local morning television beginning next year."
