Roland Martin signing off WVON, to Joyner

Roland Martin is signing off today as morning host on Midway Broadcasting news/talk WVON-AM (1690).

The former Chicago Defender editor has joined Tom Joyner's nationally syndicated morning show as senior news analyst. His daily segment airs at 6:20 a.m.

Martin continues as a regular contributor to CNN and TV One. His not-yet-named replacement at WVON will start Oct. 20.
