WLS picks up DeSantis


Monica DeSantis, who was among the news veterans forced out in the latest purge at Westwood One's Metro Networks/Shadow Broadcast Services, has landed on her feet.

She starts today on Citadel Broadcasting news/talk WLS-AM (890) as reporter during Roe Conn's afternoon show and news anchor from 7 p.m. to midnight.
