WTTW's 'Mission to Planet 429'

Roman Coppola, producer, director and son of film icon Francis Ford Coppola, is teaming with Chicago-based Window to the World Communications to launch a new children's show for public television.

WTTW National Productions will co-present "Mission to Planet 429," billed as a mixed-media sci-fi comedy adventure series geared to viewers between 6 and 9 years old.

Debuting in 2010, it will encourage kids to develop reading and comprehension skills.
