We received email from an insider who confirms that while both station management and focus groups loved the shows, WILV's airing of the Saturday Night Dance Party and the 9pm Mon-Fri "Club Love Primetime" has ended.
The format apparently didn't do well in the new PPM world. They could actually see the fast tuneouts.
The talented mixwork is still available on WILV's HD2 channel.
: Does anyone know if Love FM cancelled its Saturday night Dance Party? I know it was not on this last weekend.
: If they did I wonder if this had to do with Brian Middleton moving to afternoons or them tweaking their format in a different direction to gain an older audience with more 80s based golds.
: From a Feder column a couple of weeks ago when Brian Middleton got promoted they said he would still host the show which made it sound like it would continue.
