Legendary jock Charlie Tuna swims aboard the 24-hour syndicated Classic Top 40 format, where he'll do 10 a.m.-2 p.m. ET weekdays, as well as a five-hour weekend show. Tuna joins a lineup that already includes John Records Landecker, Marty Thompson, Jim Zippo and Eric Chase.

Tuna, beloved in Los Angeles for his time at KHJ, KIIS and KROQ, is a 2008 inductee into the National Radio Hall of Fame. He says, "I'm looking forward to becoming a staff personality for stations across America and internationally, with custom material for each market and format and a lot of interaction with listeners via the Internet and all the emerging technology!"

(Keith Berman, Radio & Records)
