Chicago Blackhawks Senior Vice President of Business Operations Jay Blunk announced today that the Blackhawks will be honoring several of Chicago's Radio Icons on selected game nights during the remainder of the 2007-08 season.
"Chicago is the best radio town in the country and as Chicagoans, we are fortunate to be able to listen to some of the greatest radio personalities in the business," said Blunk. "The Blackhawks family is celebrating the rich heritage of radio in Chicago and the range of personalities that make Chicago unique."
The Chicago Radio Icons scheduled to be honored so far:
- Wednesday, Jan 16 Mike North WSCR 670 The Score
- Wednesday, Feb 20 Eddie and Jobo WBBM-FM B96
- Wednesday, Feb 27 Eric and Kathy WTMX 101.9 The Mix
- Wednesday, Mar 5 Steve Dahl 104.3 Jack FM
- Sunday, Mar 9 Spike O'Dell WGN 720
