Getting ready for WVON's new morning show

Monday will mark the debut of the new morning show on Midway Broadcasting news/talk WVON-AM (1690). The station is keeping the identity of the new host under wraps until then.

Roland Martin left WVON earlier this month to join Tom Joyner's nationally syndicated morning show as news analyst. "With Roland gone, I've got some big shoes to fill," said Melody Spann Cooper, president and general manager of WVON.
