It's so hard to believe that this has gone on for so long without being fixed especially during an important political time. It speaks volumes about Newsweb.
Today's Tom Hartman Show audio was _awful_ and there was beautiful weather so you can't even blame the satellites....wasn't overly sunny either....
It just feels like no one cares. If this happened at a real major market radio operation it wouldn't have continued beyond a day, 2 at max.
: Problems still not fixed. There doesn't seem to be any backup in place to switch to during bad weather. Today's afternoon show was unlistenable.
: : : If you've been listening to WCPT lately you may have noticed some technical issues that have been disrupting our programming. At times you will hear what is known as digital static. Other times, there will be no sound at all for a few seconds. This has been incredibly frustrating for us, but is largely out of our control. We get our programming from all over the country and lately the network feeds that bring us that programming have been unpredictable at best. We know that during this important election season WCPT is something you count on every day for the best political analysis on the airwaves. It is our commitment to continue to bring you the best Progressive Talk available and we're working very hard with our providers to insure that you get the uninterrupted programming you deserve. Without our most loyal listeners and advertisers, WCPT wouldn't exist, and we appreciate all of your support. Please bear with us while we work out the kinks!

: : I posted about this months ago! Glad to see they noticed the problems and took action swiftly. (sarcasm)
