People made a big deal out of this not only because it was a stupid direction to go on an important interview, but he also had a preceived racist happening at Kiss Chicago that led to him being without work for more than a year. If you haven't noticed, Michelle and Barack Obama are also black. Some might expect him to watch himself a little more.
