Management upgrades at WKQX & WLUP

EMMIS/CHICAGO Brand Mgr. TISA LaSORTE has promoted Alternative WKQX (Q101.1) APD MARC YOUNG and Classic Rock WLUP (97.9 THE LOOP) APD BILL KLAPROTH to PDs of their respective stations to more accurately reflect their scope of responsibilities.

EMMIS had previously eliminated the "PD" title, following MIKE STERN's and TIM DUKES' exits nearly one year ago.

YOUNG was named APD/MD earlier this month. He officially starts next MONDAY, JANUARY 28th.
