AWRT/Chicago Chapter Elects 2008/09 Board of Directors

American Women in Radio and Television (AWRT)'s Chicago Chapter elected its 2008/2009 board of directors last week. Tapped to serve on the board are:

-- Angela T. Ingram (President), VP/Communications, Clear Channel/Chicago
-- Maria King (Vice President), President, Medina Media Acquisitions
-- Kathy Lane (Membership Director), Regional Communications Manager, CARE USA
-- Brigitte Barrett-Johnston (Programming Chair), Manager/Client Knowledge Services, Nielsen Media Research

"I am honored to lead the charge as the board of directors and chapter members all work together to carry out the mission of AWRT by educating, advocating and acting as a resource to our members and the industry at large," said Angela Ingram. "We have a tremendous opportunity ahead of us to develop new talent in our industry while making a difference in the lives of our colleagues and the communities we serve." (10-28-08)
