I'm suuuure Newsweb will "get right on it." : : The truth is that while Nine FM was quirky and interesting, and was home-brewed - it never garnered the attention it needed to in order to be fully embraced by the population. : : Then when Jack FM arrived, it swept most of Nine's listeners. I know several friends who preferred Nine over Jack but ended up becoming Jack listeners because of the consistent signal availability. : : The "Jack" format is sorta dying out all over the country, we're seeing most of those stations adjusting their playlists to be more classic rock/80s heavy. 9 won't return. Energy won't either. Both sad things. : : RIP. : : The Wisconsin signature is the creator of the petition. It's Jeremy V who lives in Milwaukee/Kenosha. I believe he's 15 or 16 and is a total radio geek to the 13th power. He's more known on the Milwaukee board BrewCityRadio.com. I get a kick out of him personally.
