'Loveline' returns to WKQX-FM
The syndicated sex-advice show, "Loveline," is returning to its longtime Chicago radio home, WKQX-FM 101.1, as part of a series of changes at the Emmis Communications outlet, effective Nov. 17.
Alex Quigley, who has been filling in on the 3-to-7 p.m. shift since Brian Sherman and Steve Tingle moved from afternoons to mornings in August, is officially taking over from 3-to-6 p.m., with the Manno Brothers moving from 7 p.m.-to-midnight to 6-to-10 p.m. as the lead-in to "Loveline."
"Loveline" enjoyed a decade run on WKQX before getting bounced in 2005, then aired on the old WCKG-FM for about a year. Now that comedian Adam Carolla is doing mornings for CBS Radio in Los Angeles, Dr. Drew Pinsky is paired with Ted Stryker, a Los Angeles radio personality and actor not to be confused with the guy Robert Hays played 28 years ago in (the movie, "Airplane").
