Conclave's Talentrak Was Well Attended & Special
THE CONCLAVE's "TALENT TRAK 2008" was held at COLUMBIA COLLEGE in THE UNIVERSITY CENTER in CHICAGO SATURDAY (NOVEMBER 8th). It was hosted by former WLUP PD and TALENTRAK TRAKMASTER BILL KLAPROTH. The first morning session, "ANATOMY OF A WINNING AIR TALENT," featured J PAT MILLER PD of KSRZ in OMAHA and NORM WINER from WXRT in CHICAGO. The second morning session, "SPOT ON PRODUCTION," was headed by BONNEVILE CHICAGO's MATT BISBEE and WLUP's BRIAN RHODES. The last session of the morning, "SUCCEEDING WILDLY IN SPITE OF MYSELF" starred "SUPERJOCK" LARRY LUJACK with a video intro from ART VUOLO.
The afternoon session, "HANGIN' WITH JOHNNY B," was hosted by JOHNATHON BRANDMEIER. This was followed by the "AIRCHECK CLINIC" and a faculty Q&A session including SHOW PREP TIPS with JAY PHILPOTT.
CONCLAVE Exec. Dir. TOM KAY was really pleased and encouraged by this year's TALENTRAK. "The magic of mentoring was alive and well on SATURDAY, as approximately 100 students and faculty gathered at The CONCLAVE's TALENTRAK '08 in CHICAGO to learn, to share and to inspire. But more than anything, each of those 100 individuals represented a singular flame of hope -- great hope -- for the future of our industry ... hope that many mistakenly believe is missing from our industry. That made the day as special as any I have had the privilege of experiencing in my tenure with the CONCLAVE!"
