Rod Phillips Upped At CC/Miami

CLEAR CHANNEL/MIAMI Pres./Market Mgr. BRIAN OLSON has upped Top 40 WHYI (Y100) and Latin Urban WMGE (MEGA 94.9) OM ROD PHILLIPS to OM for the entire cluster.

Wrote OLSON, "I am excited to announce that effective immediately ROD PHILLIPS has been named OM for the CC/MIAMI cluster. ROD’s proven track record of success in CINCINNATI, CHICAGO and MIAMI will provide our stations and team of outstanding PDs the insight and direction to achieve the highest level of ratings success in SOUTH FLORIDA."

PHILLIPS told ALL ACCESS, "I just heard that our Market Manager BRIAN OLSON is having his head examined to find out what the hell he is thinking. We actually have a great line up of stations and programmers here and I'm excited to do everything I can to move our cluster of stations forward. And, we've got TOM SCHURR and TOM POLEMAN, so I like our chances for success."
