Susan Carlson will be filling in alongside Roseanne Tellez as morning news anchor at CBS-owned WBBM-Channel 2 until a replacement is named for Randy Salerno. He was killed Jan. 24 in a snowmobile accident.
Carlson, a Chicago native and Loyola University graduate, has been morning traffic reporter at Channel 2 since 2002. She also serves as Saturday morning news anchor and as anchor of Channel 2's Web newscast.
