Movie Madness - The Good Guys of WVON-AM/1450 host a special screening of the just-released film, Cadillac Records, at the ICE Theater (Chatham) on W. 87th St., on Wednesday at 7 p.m. The film chronicles the rise of Leonard Chess (Adrian Brody) and his Chicago-based Chess Records, which touted the careers of such artists as Muddy Waters (Jeffrey Wright), Little Walter (Columbus Short), Chuck Berry (Moss Def), Willie Dixon (Cedric the Entertainer), Howlin'Wolf (Emanon Walker) and Etta James (Beyonce Knowles). Following the screening, there'll be a discussion on the movie, the history of Chess Records and WVON with the Good Guys: Purvis Spann, the Blues Man; Lucky Cordell, the Baron of Bounce; Herb Kent, the Cool Gent; and Richard 'the Best Music of Your Life' Pegue.
