WGN Offers Personalized Chicago Calendars
TRIBUNE Talk WGN-A/CHICAGO and TUKAIZ IMAGING-PRINT-INTERACTIVE are partnering on a promotional campaign to sell exclusive image-personalized 2009 calendars via WGN's website and on the air as well as on sister CW affiliate WGN-TV and in the CHICAGO TRIBUNE. Listeners can incorporate their names directly into the calendars' 12 different monthly images of famed CHICAGO landmarks.
"TUKAIZ is a leader in the field of personalized communications and WGN RADIO is proud to continue to build on our 15 year relationship with them, this time to offer these calendars with a specific Chicago theme that cannot be obtained anywhere else," said WGN DOS WENDI POWER.
"What our technology does is take one of the elements from the photograph, let's say it's the concrete by the ART INSTITUTE," said TUKAIZ VP and MAnaging Director FRANK DEFINO JR. in a recent on-air interview with JOHN WILLIAMS. "We dedicate a spot in that photo for where the name is going to go, and it will render out the name so it looks as if it was chiseled right into the concrete-- like it was photographed that way."
WGN's former Creative Director TODD MANLEY recently announced that he was exiting CH HOLDINGS Talk-Sports KTRS-A/ST. LOUIS to join TUKAIZ as Manager of New Business and Consumer Markets.
