Bears score in ratings

Here is yet another reason why the networks love the Bears.
Thursday's game did a 6.2 cable rating on the NFL Network, meaning more than 2.6 million homes tuned in to the telecast. That rating was the second-highest this year for the NFL Network, trailing only the New England-New York Jets game, which did a 7.5 rating.
Locally, the game did a combined 25.2 rating on the NFL Network and WPWR-TV/Channel 50, which translates to 880,000 homes tuning in. The ratings got higher as the game progressed, peaking near 30 at 10:30 p.m.
