Cable show leads to arrest in arson

Cook County Sheriff's Department police today arrested a woman who has been wanted since 2006 for allegedly setting a fire in Ford Heights that caused $25,000 in damage.
Cherilyn Isom, 33, was taken into custody at a Chicago Heights apartment about 11:15 a.m. after someone called the department's tip line earlier in the morning. Isom had been featured on the "Police Blotter on Demand" cable TV show, which began airing on Comcast Digital Cable last month.

In 2006, Isom was charged with aggravated arson in connection with a domestic dispute in an apartment she shared with her boyfriend.
