Can we be real?

Lisa Green was fired because she was difficult to work with, on all levels [Sales. Promotions. Charity. Programming.].

More difficult than the most difficult person _you've_ ever worked with. Sad but true.

Don't agree?

Why else would she be gone [the company gave "budget cuts" as the official reason 2 days before Christmas]?

Let's examine:

A. Lisa had a contract. It lasted 10 months. Only a problem employee could screw up their deal less than a year into a _3_ year deal.

B. With PPM, middays were the _highest_ rated daypart on Fresh 1059. Only a problem employee could make them "cut" that shift.

C. Lisa was always ready to tell you how she was better [on the air] than you. On a daily basis.

All the praise from her friends is kind, but the reality is a different story.

Ask any of her former Metro-Shadow employees. They threw a party after she was axed. No joke.

She made her own destiny at Fresh, as they kept lower-rated daypart jocks employed while dumping her.

If she had a better attitude, better personality off-air, a better 'general' outlook-on-life, she'd still be there.

Look at it this way.

What other person would post their fired status online (facebook) before they'd even left the building?

Only one who was so vain, they thought this song was written about them.

And on a final note, about format changes and the other two DJs Michael Baron & Rick Hall ---- Fresh is the 2nd crown jewel of women-demographic fm's in the cbs cluster, behind US99. Fresh is not going anywhere. Low cost, big ratings, big revenue. And low maintenance, now that Lisa Green is gone.

As for Rick & Michael, they're solid as well. Team players. Something Lisa never was.

Flame away, but the truth stings.
