Camille Johnston, spokesperson for WBBM-TV/CBS2 from 1997-1999, has been named Director of Communications for First Lady-elect, Michelle Obama. Johnston had left CBS2 to become spokesperson for Tipper Gore back in 1999. She has worked in communications for members of President Clinton's cabinet and has held communications positions with publisher Rodale Inc., the Stand Up To Cancer Foundation, and the LA Dodgers.
