J Niice and Julian To Host Morning Drive On B96
WBBM-FM proudly announces J Niice & Julian On The Radio as the new morning show on B96, Chicago's #1 Hit Music Station. Jamar "J Niice" McNeil and Julian Nieh will begin morning drive on Monday January 5, and will be heard weekdays from 5:30-10:00am on-air and online at www.b96.com.
General Manager Peter Bowen stated, "When we brought J and Julian to B96 we knew that they had the potential to work together in mornings. I have no doubt that their passion and enthusiasm will translate into some incredible radio. J Niice & Julian are going to be an integral part of B96's continued growth and success in 2009 and beyond."
J Niice has temporarily filled in during morning drive since Monday, November 24. Prior to that, he was heard in middays on the CBS RADIO Rhythmic Top 40 powerhouse. Julian has been holding down the 7:00pm-12:00am shift on B96 since July 2006.
J Niice is originally from Far Rockaway, New York, and is a big fan of soccer, snowboarding and video games. He has worked on-air in cities such as Miami, Cleveland and Washington, D.C., where he first met and worked together with Julian. Julian, originally from the D.C. area, also has worked in Norfolk, VA, and is the recipient of several Illinois Broadcaster Association Silver Dome Awards, including "Local Air Personality of the Year" in both 2007 and 2008.
