Daley, Wirtz to be guests on 'Monsters in the Morning' debut

Comcast SportsNet's new show, "Monsters in the Morning," featuring Mike North and Dan Jiggetts, has landed a big guest for its first show Monday at 6 a.m. Mayor Richard M. Daley will stop by the studio for a visit with the guys. Blackhawks Chairman Rocky Wirtz also will make a visit.
The program will run from 6-9 a.m. Monday through Friday. We'll have an interview with Mr. North in Friday's blog.

It's all about finding new opportunities these days. WSCR-AM 670 has hooked up with Comcast and McDonald's for two new initiatives. The station now has a custom-designed Comcast Feedback Zone on its Web site, 670thescore.com. Listeners can interact on various platforms, and Dan Hampton will do a video blog promoting his Comcast Digital Cable Hits of the Week.
For McDonald's, Mr. Hampton and Lawrence Holmes will feature the "I'm Loving it" play of the day on the 10 a.m.-noon show. Each day they will talk about a play from the previous night they loved. The spot features mentions of McDonald's products and the jingle.
