Allison Payne expected to return soon

WGN-TV anchor Allison Payne is expected back this coming Monday after complications from a series of mini-strokes she suffered at the start of 2008.

Payne missed almost 4 months in early 2008, left briefly again in September to attend the Mayo Clinic, and has been off the air completely since November.

The 15 year veteran of WGN News is said to now be rested and recovered, and anxious to sit alongside Mark Suppelsa again.
