The American Sportscasters Association has released its list of the Top 50 Sportscasters of All Time as voted on by its membership and assembled by a special committee.

Of the top 50 names, a few of them should be well known to Chicagoans:
-- Hey, Hey! Jack Brickhouse comes in at #13. In his prime, Jack did it all: Cubs, White Sox, Bears, Bulls; wrestling, boxing and national baseball.
-- Holy Cow! It's the beloved Harry Caray is at #18, who worked for both the Cubs & the Sox broadcasts.
-- Harry Caray's #1 fan, Milo Hamilton checks in at #32. Milo has worked all over the country calling baseball games, but also spent plenty of time in Chicago working for the Cubs & the Sox.
-- Bob Elson, the radio pioneer with both the Sox & the Cubs, as well as calling 12 World Series for Mutual radio, makes the list at #43.
