WLS pounds competition in Inauguration Day viewers

ABC-owned WLS-Channel 7 was once again triumphant on Inauguration Day. The station dominated the other two network-owned outlets in Chicago throughout the day. At 10 p.m., when all three network-owned stations were airing their local newscasts, WLS scored a 13.4 rating/22 share, compared with NBC-owned WMAQ-Channel 5's 5.9/10 and CBS-owned WBBM-Channel 2's 2.8/5.
