Jill Egan promoted at the Loop

Jill Egan, weekend host on Emmis Communications classic rock WLUP-FM (97.9), has been promoted to full-time producer and traffic reporter for Eddie Webb's afternoon show.

Starting March 3, she replaces Jane Monzures, who joined former Loop afternoon host Zakk Tyler at WZGC-FM in Atlanta.

Egan has been working full-time for Metro Networks Shadow Broadcast Services as WGN helicopter traffic reporter.
