: Power play: Public broadcaster WTTW-Ch. 11 was without electricity at its headquarters Tuesday after a power company contractor inadvertently cut a line serving its Northwest Side neighborhood around 9:45 a.m. : While backup power enabled the station to stay on the air and kept editing suites in use, Channel 11's phones, heat, Web site and most computers were out of use. : The "Chicago Tonight" crew nonetheless managed to plan a show, albeit abbreviated to a half-hour, and power was restored a little more than an hour before airtime.
