WNWI-AM 1080 reporter in plane crash

This past Friday, six Chicago area residents died when the small plane they were traveling in crashed in West Virginia while en route to Florida.

Among the victims was 22-year old Monika Niemiec, a reporter for WNWI-AM 1080. Her father and four members of the American Polish Aero Club of Chicago also passed away in the crash.
