Just before 7 am today I was listening to Don rail against how much public school teachers are paid. He went on to say that the private sector is cutting salaries and then blurted out that he took a 20% pay cut. Does anyone know the terms of Don and Roma's latest contract? I find it hard to believe they took a pay cut!!
Don's act reminds me of the old Uncle Booby (Bob Collins) routine when he constantly complained about teachers' salaries. Although I don't think he ever met a Cubs player that made enough money.
Am I the only one that feels it is rather disingenuous when multi-millionaire radio personalities try to make believe they are like the rest of us "work a day willies?" Give me a break!!
I am sure there are plenty of talented people who could do a better job than Rage and Coma at a third the price. Then maybe radio stations wouldn't have to layoff producers and reporters that make a fraction of what the overpaid "talent" makes.
