"Welcome!

Ok, finally it's here! Well, almost...

I'm Zander and I have been doing some sort of 80's rock radio show/feature since 1997 at the old WCKG in Chicago. In 2004 I took the show to a national audience, and the results were huge! Since then it has grown from one to two hours weekly, and counts WBGG-Miami and WQBW-Milwaukee as two of it's 42 total affiliates in North America. This has been a rewarding experience in my career, but I found myself looking for the next step. Last year after conferring with my trusted partner in crime, Danno Wolkoff at Envision Radio Networks, I decided that even though I was the "80's rock guy", that I need to share my equal passion for the hard album rock of the 70's.

The week of March 2nd will be the launch of a new two-hour radio show, simply called "The Rockin' 70's". This is for those Classic Rock and Classic Hits radio stations that dare recognize the power and attraction of hard rock in the 70's. Whether it be garage rock from KISS, straight ahead rockin' from AC/DC, something progressive like YES or RUSH, the cutting edge shred of VAN HALEN, heavy blues from LED ZEPPELIN, or the dark metal of BLACK SABBATH...the 70's did rock indeed. We'll prove it too you each week on The Rockin' 70's.

Join the party, and we'll turn it up!

~Zander"
