Brandmeier has no where else to go. Other markets are risky. TV is not a good option. He doesnt embrace the Internet. My guess is that he'll take the paycut and reduce the number of hours he works. He may even move to a daytime slot. He may go to another station. He may try to syndicated some kind of content but he'll keep working. He needs to be in front of an audience for the sake of his ego. Where else and what else can he do? He is over 50, has no skill and frankly, not many friends that would help him. Guys like him have become old and obsolete and just not valuable to major brands and certainly not relevant to todays core consumer under 40.

If he does return, I think he should have a smarter show. Face it, he basically read from his Brandmeier Playbook for the last 4 years. Same bits, different names and places. Johnny, I would suggest dropping Fratboy humor at the expense of others. Its really not that funny when your middle age. He should take it up a level and become more thoughtful, more relevant to todays society and your target audience. It would be more your career for another 10 years. Maybe more? Dont ignore the aging Baby Boomer. Those people still love you.
