More cost-efficiencies at bankrupt Tribune Co. On Wednesday: Tribune Broadcasting said it will integrate the operations of its 24-hour CLTV cable news operation and WGN-Channel 9. By summer 2009, both operations will be housed at the WGN studios at 2501 W. Bradley Pl. on the city's Northwest Side. A Tribune Co. spokesman said the integration is likely to result in staff downsizing. The spokesman also said negotiations to determine whether WGN's unionized on-air talent can appear on non-union CLTV have not yet begun.
