Chicago Radio at The Chicago Auto Show 2009

The Chicago Auto Show 2009 runs February 13th through the 22nd. Here is a current list of who will be doing live remotes from the big show...

WLS-AM:
--------------
- First to the scene will be WLS. The night before the show officially opens, there will be a special black-tie formal party called "First Look," with ticket proceeds ($225 per ticket) going to numerous charities. That night, Thursday February 12th, WLS will preempt its syndicated programing to go live with Roe Conn & Paul Brian from 6:00pm-8:00pm, who will be broadcasting from the party inside the Auto Show.

- Early the following Saturday morning, from 8:00am-9:00am on the 14th, Paul Brian will be doing his "Drive Chicago" program from the Auto Show floor. Paul then returns to the airwaves at Noon for yet another three hours of "Drive Chicago"

- In between the two Paul Brian shows on the 14th, WLS will have "Making Money with Joe Aldeguer" live from the show from 10:00am-Noon.

- The entire weekdays of the Auto Show, Monday the 16th through Friday the 20th, WLS will be broadcasting from the WLS booth in the South Hall. During Rush Limbaugh, WLS' Maura Myles will be doing her news breaks live from the show from 11:00am-2:00pm.

- On Saturday, February 21, "Drive Chicago" with Paul Brian returns to the showroom floor with a live broadcast from 8:00am-9:00am.

- On the final day of the show, Sunday, February 22, the ladies take over as Maura Myles & Wendy Snyder broadcast from Noon-2:00pm.


WGN:
--------------
- Steve Cochran will be broadcasting from the Chevy display in the North Hall from 4:00pm-7:00pm on Friday, February 13th and then again from Monday the 16th through Friday the 20th. (Note: On Thursday the 19th, he will have to stop the remote a little early, at 6:20pm for the Blackhawks pre-game show.)

- Also broadcasting live from the WGN booth in the North Hall will be WGN's "Sports Central" show. David Kaplan & Co. will be live on:
Saturday the 14th, from 4:00pm-7:00pm
Sunday the 15th, from 4:00pm-6:00pm
Monday the 16th, from 7:00pm-9:00pm)
Wednesday the 18th, from 7:00pm-7:45pm
Friday the 20th from 7:00pm-9:00pm
Saturday the 21st, from 4:00pm-6:00pm
Sunday the 22nd, from 4:00pm-6:00pm


WBBM-FM:

Over at the Chevy Tuner display in the South Hall, you can catch these B96 appearances:

- Stylz & Roman will be broadcasting live from 2:00pm-7:00pm every single day of the Auto Show, except on the two Sundays.

- Nikki will be at the show broadcasting live from Noon-5:00pm, each of the two Sundays.

- From 5:00pm-6:00pm on every weekday, B96's DJ Flipside will be spinning for visitors there.


WSCR:
--------------
- The Hampton and Holmes Show will be broadcasting live from the Auto Show from the Chevy Tuner Display in the South Hall from Monday the 16th through Wednesday the 18th from 10:00am-Noon.


WLEY:
--------------
- La Ley's El Toro will be broadcasting live from Noon-3:00pm from Wednesday the 18th through Friday the 20th. El Toro will be at the Chevy Display in the North Hall those 3 days.


WKRS:
--------------
- WKRS' Jerry Boothe and Nick Dowdal will be broadcasting their "Jerry's Garage Talk" show live from the event on Saturday the 14th from 10:00am-Noon from the Toyota display located in the South Hall.
