Changes are coming to the management of the company that oversees for-profit operations of the MORMON CHURCH with the retirement of President/CEO RODNEY H. BRADY from DESERET MANAGEMENT CORP. The DESERET NEWS reports that BRADY will retire next month and will be replaced by former GENERAL MILLS President and LOS ANGELES TIMES Publisher MARK WILLES. DESERET MANAGEMENT CORP. oversees broadcasting company BONNEVILLE INTERNATIONAL and the daily DESERET NEWS in SALT LAKE CITY.

"We approach this transition with mixed emotions," said CHURCH OF JESUS CHRIST OF LATTER-DAY SAINTS President THOMAS S. MONSON. "MARK brings a rich background of corporate world experience and is well respected in the international business community. We look forward to working with him. At the same time, we will miss our close association with ROD and his wife MITZI. We sincerely appreciate these many years of his devoted service."
