2 New WBEZ weekend shows

WBEZ has two new weekend shows that started yesterday (Saturday) afternoon.

2:00pm-3:00pm is the CBC's "Definitely Not the Opera", which is described as a fast-paced look at Canadian culture and beyond.

And 3:00pm-4:00pm will now be "Ideas", a program that spotlights contemporary thoughts on social issues, arts, popular culture, and modern technology.

Both of these shows replace "Weekend America" which is no longer being produced.
