My Commentary:
The second most viewed story on one of the most trafficked websites in not only Chicagoland, but the nation. Obviously people care about this situation! Yet outside of Phil Rosenthal's column, no other news outlet in town decided it was "newsworthy" enough to cover (including the fine Feder replacement at the Sun-Times).

Steve Johnson, the Tribune's Internet columnist, talked about the 5 most viewed stories on the Chicago Tribune's website for the past week.:
#2. TV anchor in the news with racial bias claims (Feb. 4). Stunning those attending a TV and radio union meeting, veteran WMAQ-Ch. 5 anchor Warner Saunders, an African-American, gives a speech accusing Robert Feder, retired Sun-Times media columnist, of racism in his treatment of minority news personalities. Feder, who is in the room, handles the upbraiding with dignity, saying his work speaks for itself.
